Golden Bakery

A proposed redesign and overhaul of the popular bakery chain in Perth. The family operated business recently expanded to larger wholesale operations, calling for a brand that could work with both “brick and mortar” stores as well as largescale distribution and catering.

The concept is inspired by more industrial and utilitarian marks as way to signal a shift from the traditional small time bakery to a larger market. Additionally switching the brand to a “golden” pallete instead of the current burgundy allowed for stronger recognition and separates the bakery from competitors like “brumby’s”, “miss maudes” and “bakers delight”.
