A little about me.

It's hard writing a biography that truly portrays how awesome/talented/insert-flattering-adjective-here you think you are, but I'll try…

My name is James Tuckwell, but you can call me “Jim”, “Jimbo” or a cheeky “Jimmy” if you're feeling brave. Born and raised (mostly) on the sunny coast of Western Australia, I've always had an appreciation for art and design. I fell headfirst into the school of animation, dabbling for a while in motion graphics and design. Following graduation, I truly discovered my passion for branding—nothing brings me more joy than to distill the essence of something into its simplest form. I approach each design with an open mind and a chance to learn, whether it be a new skill or style. My style is ever-evolving but some would note a strong utilitarian aesthetic, with many of my works following a geometric foundation.

When I'm not behind the screen, you can find me climbing at the gym with my comically small dog or down at the Artifactory, tinkering and building furniture. If you've made it this far I can only assume you are mildly interested in working together, and you won't be disappointed.
